We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic sales coordinator who will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of customer requests and meeting customer expectations. This role encompasses internal sales general administration functions and involves dealing with day-to-day calls, general orders, shipping, and invoicing requests, maintaining communication between supporting departments, and ensuring the correct use of our operating systems and processes. With over 100 years of heritage in the Black Country, we are an expanding West Midlands manufacturing business and a true global player in our field.
Reporting to: Sales Manager
The main duties will be:
1. Dealing with and responding to customer inbound enquiries and general information requests
2. Customer account management (in collaboration with external sales)
3. Creating & closing sales quotations
4. Obtaining supplier pricing and availability for materials & parts
5. General pricing checks, reviews, and upload procedures
6. Creating and processing sales orders
7. Progressing & checking on manufacturing processes
8. Continued communication with customers via email & phone
9. Logging of all activities within the company CRM
10. Liaising with shipping and exporter services for product shipment
11. Liaising with External Sales to share customer feedback, challenges & successes
12. Liaising with External Sales to gather correct information to launch new projects on the system
13. Arranging internal meetings where required to support the smooth transition and progress of orders
14. Assisting accounts with invoicing, commissions, and customer payment queries
15. Carrying out any other tasks or duties deemed by the Company to be relevant at the time or beneficial to the business.
