Staff Nurse - Swift Ward FIXED TERM: Band 5 - Fulltime hours per week
Swift is the planned surgical care ward, based at Epsom Hospital, caring for patients undergoing a wide variety of planned surgical operations and we are looking for Band 5 staff nurses to join the team to cover maternity.
We have a high turnover of general surgical patients admitted through our elective pathway and an exciting opportunity has arisen to develop an enhanced care bay for our surgical patients, within Swift Ward, working closely with our colleagues in critical care.
Swift Ward has developed close working relationships with the Day Case Unit, Theatres and the high Dependency Unit to deliver high standards of care.

Main duties of the job
The expectations within this job description will be met through hands on clinical practice, education, training and research. This is to ensure that high quality nursing care is delivered within the designated clinical area.
The post holder will support the standards of clinical practice, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
