Are you passionate about high quality care and early education?
Then Atelier Nursery could help unlock your potential with a career in Early Years.
Here, at Atelier Nursery we do things differently and will always be the first to admit we are a little bit quirky!
We make no secret of the fact that we stand on the shoulders of many giants who have gone before us in the education of young children.
The principles of the nursery are influenced from internationally recognised best practice, we have then taken elements that we believe work best for children and families and rolled them into one special place; Atelier Nursery.
Atelier Nursery is a popular and well-established day nursery based in Bath and Chippenham.
Since opening in 2016 we have grown from strength to strength and have achieved an Outstanding Ofsted grading, and have been shortlisted for the Nursery World 2024 awards!
As a nursery, we hold our values and visions close to our heart and these lead our daily practice and shape the care and teaching offered to each and every child.
As an Educator…
Innovative Teaching: Implement dynamic and child-led educational activities, adapting to the interests and needs of each child.
Key Person Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with children and their families, providing tailored support and communication.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work alongside a dedicated team of practitioners, sharing ideas and supporting each other to create the best learning environment.
Relationships are at the heart of all we do. This role includes leading a key family of mixed age children. Educators offer their professional love and nurture to all children and ensure strong attachments are created right from the start, as this is the foundation for lifelong learning!
We love to be outdoors and recognise the benefits this brings to the children we care for. Our children are free to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces and can be outside all day, every day if they choose to be. Our babies even sleep outdoors!
Working in partnership with parents and promoting the home learning environment is central to our work. We use online learning journals and hold regular meetings to share children’s learning and development, but find the best way to engage with parents is over a cup of coffee or at our family festival!
Your working days will be busy, fun, creative, quirky, adventurous, exciting, explorative, magical, fulfilling, inviting, caring, unconventional, and basically completely different to anything else you may have experienced.
Atelier Nursery is a magical place full of possibilities!
