An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our vibrant learning community within Simpson Primary School. The school is a non-denominational institution serving the community of Wester Inch in Bathgate, West Lothian. It accommodates 22 mainstream classes and a nursery class, with a current roll of 603 children in P1-P7 and 110 children in the nursery class.

The Class Teacher role will focus on leading and delivering high-quality learning experiences for all learners within Simpson Primary School. The successful candidate will adhere to West Lothian Council policies.
A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment, with the cost met by the candidate. The fee for Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59 or £18 for Existing Members.
