We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a prestigious all-boys Catholic secondary school in Kensington. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and help students thrive in their studies, particularly in Maths, Science, and Psychology. It is very beneficial to have SEN experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to students in the classroom, focusing on Maths, Science, and Psychology.
2. Assist with 1:1 and small group support, helping students to grasp key concepts and improve their understanding.
3. Support teachers in the delivery of lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and motivated throughout their learning.
4. Help create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment in line with the school's ethos and values.
5. Offer guidance and mentorship to students, helping them with academic progress, personal development, and any challenges they may face.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. A degree in Psychology, Maths, Science, or a related subject (graduates welcome to apply).
2. A strong academic background with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. A passion for supporting students in their academic journey and helping them achieve their full potential.
4. The ability to build rapport with young learners and support them both inside and outside the classroom.
