Job summary We are seeking experienced Band 5 Mental Health Nurses to join our temporary staffing bank on an as-needed basis, supporting our teams and contributing to the Trust's mission of delivering "the best care by the best people." Applicants must hold current RMN registration with at least six months of post-qualification experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a solid understanding of mental health issues are essential. Experience in managing emotional distress with empathy and compassion is vital. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of care, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care delivery. CAMHS experience is highly desirable. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1. Operating, as named clinician, for a group of clients, under the supervision of a Team Manager.2. Providing high quality evidence-based and individualised mental health care to a clearly defined group of patients, relatives and carers.3. Supervising unqualified staff in the delivery of their care.4. Working and acting as a key member of the multi-disciplinary teams, supporting each service user in achievement of planned outcomes.Leadership: 1. To supervise unqualified staff in the delivery of care.2. To demonstrate appropriate values to working with a mental health setting to junior staff.3. Identify any performance concerns about agency staff and liaise with line manager when necessary.4.
