Job Description
Come and work in a friendly & welcoming school!
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter and a General Assistant to work in a local independent school just north of Findon on the A24.
The Kitchen Porter position is on a 4-day on/ 4 day off rolling rota so will include some long days and weekends, BUT! there will be time when you will have longer between working days (up to 3 weeks), when you will STILL BE PAID!!
The General Assistant position is 8am to, Monday to Friday, and you will be assisting the pastry chef including making fruit pots & yoghurts, serving food and clearing away amongst other duties.
Pay is £ per hour which will rise with minimum wage increases and there is 28 days paid holiday on top of your worked hours. Uniform is provided along with meals and drinks while on duty and there is the occasional night out. Overtime is available for both positions when we have functions.
There is also training available if you would like to progress your skills from cooking & hospitality to management & finance.
Qualifications
13. Ideally have experience working within Education catering
14. Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
15. Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
