Your new role will see you lead and define the standards for the Security Architecture function. As the Lead Security Architect, you will be responsible for a number of high strategic impact projects ensuring its use in the long term across the breadth of the organisation.

In this role you will:
* Provide technical leadership of the Security Architecture function, setting the quality standards for the services and products provided.
* Work on projects with high strategic impact, setting a strategy that can be used in the long term and across the breadth of the organisation.
* Communicate with a broad range of senior stakeholders and be responsible for defining the vision, principles and strategy for security architects.
* Recommend security design across several projects or technologies, up to an organisational or inter-organisational level.

About you:
* You will be an established architect with significant experience in the security domain.
* You will be familiar and experienced with the ITIL framework.
* You will have experience in writing architectural strategy, policy, processes as well as writing and reviewing technical design documentation.

Our work in defence, security and intelligence requires our employees to be UK Nationals who are able to gain a high level of security clearance to undertake the projects we are involved in to protect us from security threats. This role will require full UK security clearance and you should have resided in the UK for the past 5 years. For some roles Developed Vetting will also be required, in this case you should have resided in the UK for the past 10 years.
