About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled KNX Systems Engineer to join our client's expanding team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation and commissioning of KNX automation systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about home and building automation to work with cutting-edge technologies and to further develop their career in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install and commission KNX systems in Residential, Commercial, or Industrial environments.
2. Perform detailed configuration of KNX systems to meet client requirements.
3. Conduct site surveys to assess installation needs and develop project plans accordingly.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to KNX installations.
5. Provide technical support and training to clients as required.
6. Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
7. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in the installation of KNX systems.
2. Strong understanding of building automation systems and protocols.
3. Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and wiring related to KNX.
4. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Certified KNX Partner status or equivalent qualifications in KNX technology.
2. Experience with other smart building automation systems (e.g., Loxone, Crestron, Control4).
3. Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).
Package:
£35,000 - £45,000 basic salary
