Job Description | Recruitment Sourcing Specialist

This is a fixed term contract for 9-12 months.
The Team
The HR department in the UK consists of over 100 people. We have specialist teams in Recruitment, Early Careers Recruitment and Development, Learning and Development, Operations, Systems and MI and Reward. The HR department are based in offices across the UK, working as one team to deliver a holistic service to our fee earning and business services groups.
The Role
You will be joining the team at an exciting stage in our HR transformation with significant investment in our Employee Branding, Employee Value Proposition, systems and tools to support direct sourcing.
As a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist you would be working alongside our team of recruitment advisors to attract and identify talent for areas within our UK business. Depending on experience, this would be with our business services (covering finance, IT risk, marketing, HR and legal support) or our fee-earning legal practice groups (recruiting lawyers, paralegals & legal executives into our core areas of insurance, casualty, aviation, marine, trade & commodities, energy & infrastructure).
Key Responsibilities
1. Working with Recruitment Manager/Advisors to fill vacancies across the UK and liaise with the Recruitment Manager regarding recruitment strategies for specific roles, adhering to fair selection policies and accessible to all.
2. Identifying high calibre candidates to join Clyde & Co by using direct sourcing, market mapping and research, using best practice research methods.
3. Screening profiles/ review CVs and provide shortlists, understanding the different qualification routes and jurisdictions.
4. Building, developing and maintaining talent pools within our in-house candidate database.
5. Keeping up to date with market trends and salary data.
6. Conduct screening first stage calls with candidates.
7. Regularly review job boards, and other social media platforms that can be used to identify and source new talent.
8. Support and cover colleagues work as and when required.
9. Proactively contribute to and support ad hoc resourcing project/ process improvements as required.
Skills
Essential Skills & Experience
1. Proven sourcing experience, ideally gained within the legal or professional services sector - either in-house or agency experience.
2. Tenacity to fill our niche skilled vacancies with strong influencing and communication skills.
3. Enthusiastic, highly organised and a proactive approach with a supportive, client delivery focused work ethic.
4. Proven ability to use Boolean, LinkedIn, tools for candidate attraction, CRM management and building.
5. Ability to work to deadlines and communicate effectively should those deadlines vary.
6. Ability to take ownership and responsibility over all work undertaken with a commitment to supporting the wider needs of a project and not just the immediate task.
7. Team player with a willingness to work collaboratively across the wider Recruitment team.
