Technical Project Coordinator - Buckinghamshire
Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Project Coordinator for our client based in Buckinghamshire.
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (DOE and qualification)
Hours: 8:30-5 pm (Flexible)
Duties:
1. This role plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of both sales quoting and project coordination processes. This hybrid role bridges the gap between the PA to Sales & Directors, the technical sales team, and the Projects team.
2. Review specifications and details provided by sales personnel.
3. Collaborate with the technical department to confirm application requirements.
4. Input technical specifications, product configurations, and pricing data into the quoting system.
5. Generate, review, and verify quotes for accuracy and completeness before sharing them with sales personnel.
6. Assist the sales team in resolving any ambiguities or discrepancies in the quoting process.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and pricing structures.
8. Track and manage quoting processes, ensuring quotes are delivered on time.
9. Provide administrative support, including organizing and maintaining records of quotes and communications.
10. Attend customer sites in the UK and internationally as required.
11. Act as a liaison between the PA to Sales & Directors and the Projects team to ensure smooth communication and task execution.
12. Organize and manage project folders, ensuring documents are properly titled and stored in the correct directories.
13. Assist in the creation and management of technical drawings and 3D models for project development and client presentations.
14. Coordinate site surveys and visits alongside key personnel, ensuring all necessary details are captured and communicated.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, project management, or a related field.
2. 3 years of proven experience in project coordination, particularly in a technical or engineering environment.
3. Experience conducting site surveys and creating technical documentation and drawings.
4. Knowledge of technical specifications.
5. Proficiency in using quoting systems, CRM, ERP, or similar tools.
6. Ability to read and understand technical specifications related to machinery or industrial equipment.
7. Experience in a sales support, quoting, or administrative role; ideally in a technical or industrial environment.
8. Familiarity with 3D modeling and drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor).
9. Proficiency in document management systems and project tracking tools.
