Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Physiotherapist to join the Lincolnshire Countywide Community Respiratory Team (CCRT). This could also be a band 5/6 development post for an experienced band 5 clinician who wishes to develop their respiratory skills and knowledge to become a future Respiratory Specialist. We have full hours available for a Qualified Physiotherapist who has experience working with COPD and other chronic respiratory patients and has a passion to develop their existing knowledge and skills and shape the current existing service, continuing to raise the identity and provide high quality respiratory care throughout the community. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious practitioner to join the existing team on a permanent basis. Please note this position will not commence before May 2025 Main duties of the job The post holder will support the Senior Respiratory Specialists in their role, and they will plan, co-ordinate, deliver and evaluate Pulmonary Rehabilitation across designated sites. They will carry their own respiratory caseload of patients that require specialist intervention, and perform respiratory and holistic assessment and high quality, effective evidence-based treatment of these patients with diverse, complex and multi-system pathologies. They will also provide assessment and treatment of patients requiring the Respiratory Virtual Ward, acute respiratory assessment, early and routine supported discharge, oxygen therapy and complex case management where and when appropriate. The post holder will also be professionally responsible for any staff working under them, providing clinical guidance.
