The School of ESOL are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified ESOL tutor to join our high-performing teaching team in Luton.
Our ESOL provision includes college and community-based courses, during the day and evenings, from pre-entry to Level 1 qualifications. This role would suit someone with an understanding of both adult and 16 – 18-year-old learners and the ability to deliver innovative learning opportunities across all levels. Experience of teaching Essential digital skills and/or Functional Skills Maths as well as ESOL would be of an advantage.
We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and have a desire to work with learners. Further Education or community teaching experience and a formal teaching qualification is desirable, although if you are willing to obtain your teacher training qualifications, we would also like to hear from you.
This is a part-time role for 10 hours a week based in Luton with the opportunity to increase the hours.
