Description Salary £24,027 per annum Pro Rata | Permanent, Part Time, 23.33 hours per week | Great Harwood | International Sponsorship - this role is not open to international sponsorship We are recruiting 1 part-time Wake and Watch staff to provide overnight support for individuals who have learning disabilities and complex behaviour needs. Usual working hours will be 10pm until 8am. The role will include implementing the individual's night time support plan and other agreed activities. Successful candidates will be expected to be available to work days initially alongside experienced colleagues, and available to undertake training and team events, including probation, supervision and team meetings, during daytime working hours. The Service supports people with learning/physical disabilities in Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Short Break Service. The support worker role involves all aspects of support, including providing personal care, support with managing finance, administering medication and ensuring people's needs are met in terms of health and positive outcomes. Applicants who do not hold NVQ Level 3 at the time of appointment will be required to complete QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care within the first 2 years of employment. Care Certificate training is also provided. Please note all training will be funded by the Service.
