The role will involve prospecting to businesses throughout the UK, through various means, with rapport building and people skills being an essential element. Key duties of the role: Make outbound calls and send emails to prospect potential new customers. Deal with inbound enquiries from your own prospects as well as google or email marketing leads Grow and maintain a portfolio of business accounts Advise clients on suitable products with thorough questioning skills and the ability to assess and recommend in different scenarios To assess and advise on credit risks, with the sustainability of the business as the key driving factor Experience required: Ability to achieve targets and deliver results in a challenging environment Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a desire to solve problems Excellent sales, objection handling and rapport building skills Ability to listen and interpret information Good IT skills with the ability to competently use Microsoft Office Ability to organise workload and manage time effectively Able to self-motivate and work effectively as part of a team Previous experience in a sales or phone based role advantageous but essential The ideal candidate will be: Highly motivated and driven Pro-active with a lot of initiative A competent learner who enjoys new experiences Comfortable working in an office based environment on a daily basis Positive and focused to achieve tasks Have a high degree of self-motivation with an ability to motivate others
