AA Technology Solutions Ltd is currently looking for a full-time Project Leader with experience in Cloud technology to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking to work on, and with, a dynamic software development team in a scrum/agile environment.
Responsibilities
1. Determine the appropriate time to advance projects and move on to further stages while acknowledging when certain strategies aren’t effective and implementing changes.
2. Carry out constant evaluation and adjustment to ensure that both internal and external factors do not suffer.
3. Maintain direct and open interaction with line managers to ensure all resources needed for the project are available and negotiate amendments to project plans.
4. Promote teamwork and set a good personal example of attitude and performance.
5. Identify, track, communicate, manage, and resolve project issues.
6. Drive and review collaboration technology diagnosis and assessment activities.
7. Develop presentation materials and deliver presentations to senior IT stakeholders.
8. Determine customer needs and design solutions based on current product offerings and value-added consulting services.
9. Conduct research and make recommendations on data mining products, protocols, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
10. Work on projects across various industry sectors.
11. Review project quality, risks/issues, plans, and track appropriate mitigation.
12. Manage external stakeholder expectations regarding time, cost, and quality in a challenging multi-vendor environment.
13. Lead multiple projects and manage programme-level reporting, including project planning, estimation, tracking, risks/issues management, resourcing, and status reporting.
14. Manage the budget, resource forecast, resource utilization, and change management process for the project.
15. Maintain effective communications with the project office on all aspects of personal scheduling and project scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Skills
1. Expert level knowledge in implementing and operating AWS cloud platforms (EC2, S3, EMR, Redshift).
2. Project experience implementing core infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based services.
3. Deep AWS product knowledge and understanding of product features.
4. Hands-on experience building solutions from AWS components using tools like CloudFormation, Ansible, or Chef.
5. Expertise in cloud security and identity best practices.
6. Experience creating cloud cost models and running cloud readiness assessments.
7. Conduct training for customers as part of implementation.
8. Experience working with enterprise IT and implementing hybrid cloud solutions.
9. Exposure to other cloud platforms preferred (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Salesforce).
10. Exposure to Microservices design/implementation, API Management, Container technologies, Serverless, NOSQL, Caching, Messaging, Kinesis.
11. Experience running large complex global infrastructure across multiple data centers leveraging private & public cloud.
12. Experience designing and delivering secure cloud solutions on AWS, Azure (must have).
13. Expertise in Infrastructure automation technology.
14. Prior experience developing and/or supporting core Infrastructure computing services.
15. Expert level Compute Experience managing Hitachi, Cisco & Dell Infrastructure.
16. Experience with Storage Products from EMC, Netapp, Hitachi, or other storage products.
17. Experience with DevOps & ITIL approach in service operations & delivery.
18. Experience with robust Infrastructure Capacity Planning.
19. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to project manage and work with cross-functional teams.
