About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant specializing in SEMH support, you will: Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, including those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Use co-regulation techniques, restorative approaches, and emotional support strategies to help students manage their feelings and behaviours. Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and deliver interventions targeting social, emotional, and communication skills. Support individual and small-group activities designed to build confidence, independence, and resilience. Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual SEND Passports and SEMH action plans. Act as a trusted mentor for students, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can thrive.
