We are looking for a qualified accountant from a top 20 firm with both statutory accounts preparation and audit experience, to join a Large Advertising Agency, who are a subsidiary of one of the Big 4 in the Advertising industry, as a Group Financial Accountant. Paying £60-65k and based in Central London with hybrid working, this role will form part of a large finance team of 100 people and there will be a plethora of opportunities to progress into other areas of the business.
The Role
* You will collaborate closely with senior finance leaders and external auditors to ensure compliance with deadlines and have responsibility for a wide range of technical aspects of financial reporting.
* Partner with senior finance leadership to coordinate, review, and deliver all statutory financial statements for UK-based entities, ensuring adherence to tight deadlines.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for liaising with external auditors, as well as internal departments, to facilitate and drive the completion of annual audits (both Group and statutory).
* Lead and provide technical expertise on complex accounting areas such as statutory consolidations, impairment assessments, going concern evaluations, and cash flow forecasting.
* Take charge of the preparation and review of consolidated cash flow statements for the business.
Your Profile
* Currently, only candidates on short notice periods- 1 month np or less are being considered.
* You will need to be a qualified accountant coming from a top 20 practice, with both stat account preparation and audit experience.
* Ex Auditors, now working in industry within a statutory accounts preparation role will instantly be considered.
