Are you passionate about teaching P.E. and looking for a new position this term?
A fantastic, highly rated secondary school in Solihull is looking to recruit a full-time P.E. Teacher to join their supportive team from the start of the term in January 2025. To be considered, you should be comfortable taking on a timetable that includes all year groups within the secondary range and ideally A-Level (KS5) classes. The school is highly regarded for its pupil progress and teacher support/development. The role will initially cover maternity absence, but further work will be available at the school for the right candidate.
Experience and willingness to cover other subjects within secondary education is desired by the school, as part of the weekly timetable may involve cover supervision.
The successful PE teacher will have:
* QTS or a broad range of coaching qualifications and a relevant higher-level diploma
* Experience in the sports coaching and/or education sector
* The ability to deliver high-quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
* A knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and the ability to implement strategies with a class of 30 children
