Global Financial Accountant
About the role
As a CBRE Global Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing key accounting close and group and statutory reporting activities of the EMEA non-operating entities. You will be expected to manage the monthly close and reporting expectations, in coordination with business partners, shared services organizations, and service providers, ensuring the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of key close and reporting activities.
This job is part of the CBRE Global Consolidations team, is based in London with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
What you will need:
* Qualified financial accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
* Experience in an industry role post professional accounting qualification
* UK GAAP experience required; US GAAP and IFRS experience is a plus
* Audit experience highly preferred
* Experienced in regular use of financial systems (Peoplesoft and One Stream is an advantage)
* Ability to work in an international SOX environment
* Flexibility to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
* Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, business partners, and service providers
* Ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities
* Problem-solving skills, both independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including the ability to research and simplify complex situations
* Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
* Accurate and strong attention to detail
