Intervention Teacher
A warm, efficient, and inclusive school in the heart of London is offering a long-term intervention teacher role until July 2025. This is a great opportunity for an excellent intervention teacher looking for a long-term role that is close to Stockwell station. The role is a one-on-one position with a lovely boy who has SEMH needs. He is not SEN but does need extra support in the classroom, particularly managing his emotional responses to situations.
Role requirements of an Intervention Teacher:
1. Able to work effectively with small groups
2. Experience working in KS2
3. A willingness to help in extra curriculum activities
Main responsibilities for an Intervention Teacher:
1. To assist the classroom teacher in taking engaging lessons
2. Making sure the interventions are in line with the school's needs
3. Co-ordinate effectively with the Class Teacher
4. To perform safeguarding duties
5. Perform interventions
6. Happy to organise and plan short sessions
