Finance Business Partner - Corporate Services

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner - Corporate Services to join our outstanding Finance team core function. This is a key role requiring initiative and leadership skills, someone comfortable working with large data sets, and a confident communicator who is able to demonstrate prior success in a finance business partner or commercial accountant role.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly successful Private Equity backed company as we venture into further consolidation and accelerated growth. The business is fast-moving which allows for a high degree of influence at this role's level.
What will you be doing?
You will report to the Head of FP&A and will help drive and manage the Group Corporate Services P&L. You will be responsible for commercial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting and will business partner with colleagues in Group, sales, pricing, IT and customer services. Working closely with the Executive team you will provide insightful analysis to help control costs, improve efficiency and influence strategic decisions at Board level.
You will:
1. Lead elements of the preparation of the monthly management accounts in line with reporting deadlines.
2. Prepare detailed variance analysis and other KPIs for monthly board packs.
3. Support the Executive Team with insightful business analysis.
4. Develop and improve analysis of profitability by customer and customer segments.
5. Business partner with Finance, Sales, Pricing, HR, Risk, IT and Customer services teams. Help develop their commercial awareness.
6. Identify risks and opportunities for profitability.
7. Drive automation of processes and data analysis, including utilisation of existing tools and working closely with MI and IT colleagues.
8. Continuously look at ways to improve processes, systems and controls with the aim of increasing speed and accuracy of accounts production.
9. Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

To join our team, you will need:
1. ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
2. Post-qualification experience is advantageous, but not essential
3. Offer previous experience in a finance business partner, commercial or management accountant role
4. Business planning, forecasting and reporting experience
5. Degree - minimum 2:1 in a role relevant, academic subject
6. Strong Excel skills
7. Ability to work with large data sets using excel and other database software tools.
8. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues.
9. Able to present financial information to senior colleagues in a clear, concise and confident manner.
10. Strong organisation skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workloads whilst maintaining expert attention to detail
11. Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Previous financial modelling experience (desirable)
13. Experience in a technical or other service sector industry (desired).
14. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O accounting system (desired).
