FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Payable Assistant based in Bridge Of Don, Aberdeen on a Temporary Contract basis, running for approx. 6 months. This is a full time position, with Hybrid working available.
Main duties include:
* Posting invoices
* Verifying correct coding
* VAT and approvals
* Processing changes in master data with proper authorization
* Handling AP-related questions from external suppliers and internal entities
* Assisting with month-end close duties
* Any other tasks as necessary
Suitable candidates should have the following:
* Previous relevant experience in a similar role
* Experience with IFS software is desirable
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel is essential
* Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
* Keen attention to detail
* Strong verbal and written communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK
