Quality Manager - Aerospace
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
I'm currently working with a well-established and growing aerospace business that forms part of a larger engineering group. The company supports both internal group divisions and a number of external aerospace clients.
They are now looking to recruit a Quality Manager to lead and develop all aspects of the Quality function across the site.
About the Role:
As Quality Manager, you will take full ownership of the Quality function, supported by a small team comprising two Quality Engineers and a Quality Administrator. The scope of this role includes:
1. Maintaining and developing the business's quality and environmental accreditations, including AS9100, NADCAP and ISO14001.
2. Managing internal and external audits and ensuring continued compliance.
3. Handling customer approvals and supporting customer audits and visits.
4. Investigating and resolving customer and internal non-conformances (NCRs).
5. Managing changes in customer specifications and supporting new product introduction (NPI) from a quality perspective.
6. Driving continuous improvement through data-driven root cause analysis and process review.
About You:
We're looking for an experienced aerospace Quality Manager who brings:
1. A strong background in managing AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO14001 systems.
2. Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
3. Confidence and clarity in communication, with the ability to influence and engage both internal teams and external stakeholders.
4. An understanding of chemical treatment or coatings processes would be advantageous, though not essential.
5. UK right to work and the ability to meet security clearance requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and driven Quality professional to join a business where quality truly matters, and where you'll have the autonomy and support to make a significant impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr
