Regional Agency Sales Manager - Midlands
Salary and benefits: Up to £38,000 plus bonus, car/allowance & excellent benefits.
Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Locations: Derbyshire, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Worcestershire.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a results-focused travel industry professional to join a leading Tour Operator as a Regional Agency Sales Manager. Covering the Midlands, this role involves working as an integral part of the Sales Team to maintain and increase sales of our client’s products to UK Travel Agents.
The successful candidate will develop and build on existing relationships to ensure continued support of our client’s products. They’ll develop new business opportunities and plan and carry out sales and marketing activities, training, and presenting on new products to ensure agents have a full understanding of the products available.
The role will suit those with a strong travel industry background, previous field-sales experience, and excellent relationship-building skills. Responsibilities:
1. Arrange meetings with agents, ensuring regular visits across the area.
2. Maintain close relationships with existing travel agent partners.
3. Develop new business opportunities within the region.
4. Lead overseas FAM trips and represent the business at conferences, functions, and networking events.
5. Collaborate with partners to create marketing and promotional plans to increase mutual business.
6. Explore and develop new trade partnerships.
7. Analyze statistical data for regional sales meetings.
8. Support local marketing activities such as product launches, events, and exhibitions.
9. Assist the Marketing team with marketing initiatives.
10. Monitor market and competitor activities, providing relevant insights.
11. Build and manage a database of agents for targeted communications.
