Music Teacher
* Job Type: Temporary, Part-time (3 days per week, Monday - Wednesday)

* Salary: £150 - £220 per day
We are seeking a Music Teacher to deliver engaging and educational music lessons to years 1-6 as part of the PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) model. This role is ideal for someone with a specialism in music and experience in teaching whole classes at the primary school level. The successful candidate will teach 45-minute lessons to three classes in each year group, covering singing, percussion, and ukulele. This role will be until the end of the academic year.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Conduct 45-minute music lessons across years 1-6, engaging three classes per year group.
* Teach a variety of music disciplines including singing, percussion, and ukulele.
* Plan and prepare lessons that are both educational and enjoyable.
* Adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
* Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and support to encourage musical development.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven specialism in music, preferably with a relevant degree or qualification.
* Experience in teaching music to whole classes at the primary school level.
* Ability to teach singing, percussion, and ukulele.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate young learners.
* Creative in lesson planning with the ability to make music fun and accessible.
* Strong organisational skills to manage teaching schedules and lesson planning.
