This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, positive, flexible and passionateF&B Managerto be part of our Food & Beverage team. We are currently recruiting for a talented & experienced Food & Beverage Manager.
The successful applicant ideally be coming from a 4* background with experience of financial budgeting and P/L management. You will be accountable for & oversee the smooth and efficient operation of our Restaurant, 2 Bars as well all our Conference & Banqueting facilities.
You will be responsible for a team of approximately 30 team members in a busy, fast paced & customer focused environment. You will be able to motivate your team and engage with them to increase service standards across all outlets with a focus on guest experience at the forefront.
Extensive Food and Wine Knowledge are expected as you will be refining an established quality operation to take it to the next level. You will have the ability to create a great atmosphere, as an inspirational host of the F&B area and somebody who will go the extra mile at all times to deliver a great customer experience and surpass customer expectations encouraging repeat business and being the face of the hotel
Key objectives:
Ensure achievement of budgeted profitability of the Restaurant, Bar, Meetings & Events
Drive new business to the hotel and implement promotions
Utilise food & beverage personnel between all outlets to minimize payroll expenditure and ensure flexibility of the team
Ensure all employees receive regular training to update their skills and knowledge and meet their own personal development needs
Maximise the service opportunities for guests to ensure return visits
Experience required:
To have worked as a F&B Manager or been a strong Deputy for at least 1 year
Standards orientated with an eye for detail
Strong managerial skills
Evidence of cost control and purchasing
Knowledge of health & safety and current legislation
Influencer at all levels and able to get employee buy in to operating practices
Good organizer
Use of Micros an advantage
