From You:
* Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping is preferred.
* Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and regulations.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to solve problems effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics software is a plus.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Coordinate international shipments and ensure timely delivery across air, sea, and land transport modes.
* Prepare and process necessary documentation including bills of lading, import/export declarations, and customs paperwork.
* Liaise with suppliers, clients, and third-party vendors to manage the flow of goods.
* Track and monitor shipments, providing customers with updates and resolving any issues that arise.
* Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, including customs laws and safety standards.
* Manage and update shipment schedules, optimize routes, and recommend cost-effective shipping solutions.
* Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the shipping process.
