Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Therapist to join the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Specialist Eating Disorders Service. The Specialist Eating Disorders Service are looking to recruit a highly skilled individual to join their team and work collaboratively with them to develop and deliver servicesthat address the complex physical, psychological and psychosocial needs of the clients and their families/carers enabling the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery and development of eating disorder services in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Main duties of the job To be responsible for providing a qualified specialist systemic family therapy service to clients, and their families. Consultation work advising staff of other disciplines on the systemic aspects of casework and patient management plans. To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models and many complex factors that have shaped the individual, family or group. To lead on the development of Family Therapy in the Specialist Eating Disorders Service. To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and to contribute to the activities and developments of this team. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
