We are recruiting a passionate and committed SEND Teacher to work at an independent school in Lincoln. This school caters to children aged 11-19 with severe and profound learning disabilities, as well as those on the autism spectrum and with complex care needs.
The school’s mission is to enable the children and young people entrusted to them to reach their full potential within a safe and nurturing environment.
As a SEND Teacher on supply, you will work closely with the school’s dedicated team to deliver tailored educational programs, supporting the unique needs of each student. Your role will be key in ensuring that every child is given the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of SEND Teacher, you will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Have experience in teaching children and young people with SEND, particularly those with severe and profound learning disabilities.
* Possess knowledge of autism spectrum conditions and complex care needs.
* Exhibit a caring, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
* Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Show a commitment to the school’s mission and values, ensuring the best possible outcomes for students.
