Description
As a Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
* Leading a team of finance assistants to success, ensuring all invoices are processed within a timely manner
* Proactively managing the relationships of internal and external stakeholders
* Identify and assist in implementing new processes to streamline work flow
* Proposing corrective action to team members when/where required
* Being a role model within the department, demonstrating the groups values and behaviours
* Conducting monthly 121 and review meetings with staff
* Dealing with any escalations that may arise
* Having difficult conversations with external suppliers over the phone
* Supporting the team when the volume of work is high
* Other adhoc responsibilities
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
* Experience working in a similar role previously
* Very high attention to detail
* Experience managing a team of staff previously
