CBT Therapist required for a full-time permanent position, for an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality psychological therapy services within the service.
Working in the outpatient team to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) assessment, formulation, and treatment to clients.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working closely with relevant other professionals as appropriate.
2. Communicating in a skilled and sensitive manner regarding the assessment, formulation, and treatment plans to clients.
3. Undertaking risk assessment and risk management of service users.
4. Providing CBT-based assessment, formulation, and treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
5. Managing a clinical caseload in accordance with operational policy.
6. Attending monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge and skills, and promote access to clinical excellence.
7. Maintaining high levels of clinical governance, including all documentation as required by the service.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Education/Qualifications: Doctoral Clinical/Counselling Psychology with BABCP accreditation or working towards this, or registered health professional and BABCP Accredited.
2. Assessed experience of working as a qualified CBT therapist or experience of working in mental health delivering CBT treatment.
3. Able to deliver interventions to a wide range of clients.
