Young Persons Mentor (Sports requirement) – Cardiff
We work in partnership with a local school in Cardiff which works with young people from all walks of life. The young people would hugely benefit from an individual which has the ability to positively impact their attitude towards school, as well as creating an open platform to build on new relationships. We have found historically that using the medium of sports during break times and free time has reinforced a team mentality and has helped build trust throughout the school.
What does the ideal candidate need?
- Would have an interest helping develop young people in a school environment
- Has experience coaching or demonstrating relationship building through sports
- Shows they are able to demonstrate patience
- Is looking to commit to the role to ensure continuity and consistency for the young people
- Has a can-do attitude and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment
When we say ideal candidate, this is not an exhaustive list. We would love to hear from anyone that feels they have the qualities which would contribute towards this school and have a positive influence on these young people.
