The Role
* Teach Art and Design across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate.
* Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that nurtures creativity and technical skills, covering a range of media such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art.
* Encourage students to explore their own artistic interests and express themselves creatively, while developing key practical and analytical skills.
* Guide students through their GCSE Art portfolios, helping them develop their work and meet exam requirements.
* Organise and contribute to school art exhibitions, showcasing student work and engaging with the school community.
* Support the wider Creative Arts department, sharing good practice and resources with your colleagues.

The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified with UK QTS and has experience teaching Art and Design at secondary level.
* Creative and Inspiring, with the ability to engage students of all abilities and backgrounds in the creative process.
* Passionate about helping students develop their artistic voices while also building essential skills for their future.
* Comfortable teaching a range of artistic techniques and media, adapting lessons to meet the needs and interests of students.
* Enthusiastic about extra-curricular activities, including running or supporting art clubs, exhibitions, and workshops.
* A team player who is willing to collaborate and share good practice across the department.
