A leading manufacturing business are currently looking for a Calibration and Maintenance Electronics Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position with flexible hours; in the manufacturing plant. Key responsibilities will include: Service and maintain electrical/electronic test equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE). Support manufacturing across product assembly, integration, and test stages. Perform routine calibrations, commissioning, drift analysis, fault finding, and repairs. Collaborate with engineers and support functions to resolve technical tasks. Work with complex test platforms for missile system manufacturing and testing. Calibrate and support factory test equipment (DC to Microwave). Participate in annual reviews for development planning. Contribute to teamwork, knowledge sharing, and workload management. The Successful candidate will have: Minimum qualification: HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Experience and knowledge in the calibration of test equipment and maintenance of test systems to component level. Able to utilise instructions, handbooks, drawings or specifications to provide technical advice/guidance. Able to use this information to conduct appropriate measurements and repairs down to component level. Good understanding of calibration principles and processes. Able to mentor other or more junior staff when requested by line manager. Able to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently. Analytical and problem solving skills. Good communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the relevant audience. A good understanding of SAP would be desirable. Experience of working on Environmental Chambers an advantage.
