We pride ourselves on seamless project execution and customer satisfaction, and we’re looking for an organized and proactive Operations Manager to help us streamline our back-office operations.
The Role
As Operations Manager, you will oversee and optimize the administrative and logistical functions that support our heat pump installation projects. Your role will be key in ensuring installations are booked and executed efficiently, materials and equipment are ordered in a timely manner, and all necessary documentation and certifications are managed. You will work closely with our regional team leads and installer teams to remove operational bottlenecks and ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Job Scheduling & Coordination: Book installation jobs with our installer teams, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
Documentation & Compliance: Manage and maintain all necessary paperwork, certifications, and compliance documents related to heat pump installations.
Material & Equipment Management: Oversee the ordering, tracking, and delivery of required materials and equipment for each job.
Purchase Order Management: Process and track purchase orders to ensure timely procurement and cost efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any administrative, logistical, or operational issues that may arise.
Collaboration & Communication: Act as a key liaison between regional team leads, installer teams, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize operational workflows and improve overall efficiency.
About You
You are a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in operations management, preferably in a trade or installation-based industry. You excel at multitasking and problem-solving and have a proactive approach to keeping projects on track.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in operations management, administrative coordination, or a similar role.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience with purchase order management and procurement processes.
* Familiarity with job scheduling, inventory management, and documentation control.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and suppliers.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges quickly.
* Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., project management software, spreadsheets, and CRM systems).
* Experience in the heating, plumbing, or construction industry is a plus but not required.
