A Public Sector account manager serves as the primary liaison between our client and their public Sector clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering strong relationships. They oversee client accounts, addressing needs, resolving issues, and delivering tailored information and updates to meet client goals. Account managers collaborate with internal teams to align services with client expectations while identifying opportunities to upsell or expand our presence in the account. They monitor performance metrics, provide regular updates, and advocate for the client’s best interests. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential to maintaining trust and driving mutual success. Ultimately, their role is to balance client satisfaction with the company’s objectives, promoting long-term growth.
Key Objectives:
Building Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain trust with public sector stakeholders, understanding their unique priorities and constraints.
Delivering Solutions: Provide tailored support that aligns with relevant public sector goals, such as cost-efficiency, sustainability, or innovation.
Ensuring Compliance: Navigate government regulations, procurement frameworks, and contract requirements from G-Cloud and Network Services 3 (CCS).
Driving in account Growth: Identify opportunities for expanding our client's solutions or offering new solutions within existing frameworks and contracts.
Demonstrating Value: Showcase measurable outcomes that address public sector needs, such as improving service delivery or optimizing budgets.

Understanding of Public Sector Frameworks: Knowledge of procurement processes, regulations, and frameworks such as G-Cloud, NS3, and Public Contracts Regulations.

Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication to engage with diverse stakeholders at various levels.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with our client's existing customers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
2. Solution Delivery:
• Identify client needs and provide tailored, value-driven solutions that align customer objectives.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services.
3. Compliance and Frameworks:
• Navigate procurement processes and frameworks such as G-Cloud, NS3, and other public sector contracts.
• Ensure all activities meet public sector regulatory requirements.
4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track account performance and provide regular updates to clients and internal teams.
• Deliver data-driven reports showcasing outcomes and return on investment.
5. Growth and Business Development:
• Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, or expand services within existing accounts.
• Contribute to tenders, bids, and proposals to secure new contracts.
6. Market Knowledge:
• Stay informed on public sector trends, priorities, and budgetary changes.

• Proven experience in account management or similar roles, preferably within the public sector.

Salary - £70,000 - £80,000
Location - Farringdon (3 days per week)
