An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands for a Strength and Conditioning Coach to provide elite-level support to student-athletes across our renowned sports academies.

Our programmes enable students to achieve their sporting aspirations while excelling in their studies. We proudly host sports including Athletics, Basketball, Football, Rugby, and many more, supported by a dedicated team of coaches with elite-level experience.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our performance team and play a crucial role in enhancing the athletic development and performance of our student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver evidence-based strength and conditioning programmes tailored to athletes across multiple sports.
2. Collaborate closely with performance and medical staff to optimise individual and team performance.
3. Conduct regular fitness assessments and athlete monitoring, providing feedback to athletes and coaching staff.
4. Support college-wide activities, promoting health and fitness amongst all students.
5. Provide event and weekend support, assisting athletes during competitions and key events.
6. Implement injury prevention strategies and supporting rehabilitation programmes.
7. Deliver workshops and educational sessions on fitness, recovery, and performance enhancement.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A degree in Sports Science, Strength and Conditioning, or a related field.
2. Relevant qualifications such as UKSCA accreditation (or working towards it).
3. Proven experience in delivering strength and conditioning programmes, ideally within an elite sports or educational environment.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
5. A proactive and adaptable approach, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Desirable attributes include:
1. Experience working in a college, university, or similar educational setting.
2. Knowledge of performance analysis tools and methods.
