Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.
Our public sector client is looking for a temporary employee to join their team as an admin officer. This is initially a temporary role until March 2025, with a chance of extension based on business need. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week, with usual working hours from 9-5. The pay rate for this role will start at £11.59 and increase to £12.53ph on week 13.
Due to the nature of the work, this role is fully office based in Stoke town centre.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
1. Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings.
2. Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
3. Answering telephone calls and inbox management.
4. Post opening and dispatch.
5. Standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, submissions, etc., according to guidelines and instructions.
6. Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards.
The successful candidate will have 12-18 months of admin experience within a workplace.
