Job Description: Connected Care Project Manager Location: Manchester, M50 3SP or Staines, TW18 3DZ Working Options: Flexible / Hybrid Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive salary 10% bonus fantastic benefits Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Closing Date: Thursday, 20th February 2025 Role Overview As a Connected Care Project Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the Connected Care programme, working cross-functionally to identify business improvement opportunities and respond to market-driven changes. Your role ensures that all deadlines are met, and the Connected Care programme is successfully implemented. You will support the management of the Connected Care transformation pipeline, acting as a single point of contact across all workstreams to monitor overall progress and communicate essential information, identifying and reporting on successes, key risks and dependencies. What You’ll Do: Manage the Connected Care delivery programme, leading planning sessions, and providing an overview of programme status and performance against priority focus areas and agreed milestones. Manage projects using a recognized development approach to ensure objectives are met within timescales and budget. Identify the scope of a project, define workstreams and their deliverables, set challenging but realistic timescales for delivery, and build an overall project plan. Identify and manage the risk, impact, and dependencies for each project, including communication and training. Identify necessary resources and manage them effectively, providing advice and guidance on analysis design and other development methodologies. Be responsible for the management and delivery of the project plan, building a business case, and ensuring that the project meets its objectives and is delivered on time and within budget. Report progress to the business sponsor and other interested parties, ensuring that issues are raised and addressed. Act as a subject matter expert, using market and business knowledge to shape and influence solution design. Manage the implementation of revised processes, ensuring all areas of the business are involved and committed, and provide post-implementation support. Challenge the direction and scope of projects, identify and encourage radical opportunities, and assist in developing ideas, solutions, and resolutions to ensure all projects align with business priorities. What You’ll Bring: Education to degree level or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal skills; supportive and approachable, with the ability to manage and motivate others by encouraging participation and ownership. Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and particularly MS Project. Highly motivated team player with the ability to work on your own initiative. A self-starter with enthusiasm and drive. Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels. Asks questions to understand others' views and always consults affected parties. Embraces new ways of working and is open-minded about the way forward. Flexible attitude to change, well-versed in the principles of change management, with the ability to coach others through the process of change. Committed to meeting deadlines and achieving deliverables, putting Bupa’s interests first. Able to take a non-directive approach to problems, work with teams to provide processes that enable others to reach their own solutions. Able to manage complex, multi-streamed projects while balancing competing priorities. Experience working in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferable.
