Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupils’ success and well-being. The ideal Key Stage 1 Teacher will demonstrate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1, with a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to both teaching and teamwork. An understanding of inclusive teaching practices and the ability to support pupils with diverse needs. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school’s ethos and community. Desirable: Experience with phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc. or similar.
