Job Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on Functional Skills English, Maths, and/or ICT.
2. Assess learners' current abilities and create individualised learning plans.
3. Track learners' progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Encourage learner engagement, building confidence and motivation.
5. Provide support with exam preparation, coursework, and assessment.
6. Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the learner’s preferred learning style.
7. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports learner success.
Qualifications and Skills
* Relevant qualification in teaching or tutoring.
* Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English, Maths, and/or ICT curriculum.
* Previous experience teaching or tutoring.
* Ability to create engaging and effective learning resources.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to supporting learners' individual needs.

* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent later.
