We are looking to recruit a Trust ST3 Doctor to expand our emergency care function based at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton. The post holder will be responsible for the admission, clerking, and day-to-day acute care of their patients in the emergency department, as assigned. This includes patients in the clinical decision unit.
This post is not recognised for training; however, a bespoke development programme will be tailored to the successful candidate's needs. The successful candidate will be allocated a clinical supervisor who will provide mentoring, support, direction, and an objective view on how the post holder can develop and progress in their working environment. There is potential opportunity to progress into Specialty Doctor and Specialist grade (SAS grade) contract.
We are a modern Foundation Trust, with a friendly supportive working environment; we have been repeatedly rated as one of the top-10 healthcare employers in the country.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, our diverse patient mix of approximately 60,000 attendances per year (both adult and children) and responsibilities as an accredited Trauma Unit provide varied and interesting clinical challenges.
Please note that this advert may close early if a high volume of applications are received.
