About The Opportunity Jacobs has secured a long-term framework contract with Northumbrian Water in the northeast of England, and we are seeking skilled people to join our growing water team and deliver on the fantastic opportunities this presents. We are seeking engineers with relevant site or construction supervision experience who are looking to grow their careers in exciting new ways. As an ECC Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our Client's construction projects. You will work on construction sites collaborating with clients, project managers, and contractors to test and inspect works for quality during the construction phase. You will also be responsible for monitoring health, safety and welfare on sites. These are exciting times to be involved in the water sector with major high-profile programmes of work to be delivered across the water and wastewater asset base in the years ahead. With a sound understanding of construction in the water sector (or other similar sectors), you will have: A degree or equivalent site supervision / construction experience in civil or mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline. Ideally you will be a chartered engineer, or equivalent.
