Pay Range: Local Government Scale 2
Working hours: 10:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday
Actual Salary from: £11,134 - £11,309 per annum (Point 3-4)

The Role
We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our Catering Team
* This post is 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus non-pupil days).
* The working pattern will be 10:30am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday
Our team pride themselves on producing high quality food to 1400 students a day. The standard of food quality is very high and students and staff praise the service they receive. We are looking for an individual who can work effectively in a busy, hard working environment, be part of a strong and dedicated team and will take pride in delivering the best school food in Colchester.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* The preparation and simple cooking of food and beverages.
* Serving customers at the counter/hatch or from a trolley or kiosk, as required.

We're looking for you if you have:
* Experience of the preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages to the required standard
* Knowledge of health and safety, and food hygiene regulations Ability to maintain a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory and school regulations
* Good working knowledge and ability to follow menu and recipes agreed
