A leading automation and process engineering organization is looking for a competent and driven SHEQ Advisor to join their successful operation. Your role will be to provide efficient, timely, proactive support to the wider business, including improvement and maintenance of SHEQ systems as well as operational support across their sites.
Duties include:
1. Ensuring company compliance with the Quality Management System ISO standards ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 and environmental strategy.
2. Coordinating and conducting Internal Audits across all sites.
3. Supporting project managers with compliance with CDM regulations.
4. Conducting reviews of contractor documentation, and delivering safety meetings, audits, and inspections.
5. Ensuring delivery of compliance and promotion of continuous improvement.
6. Developing and maintaining RAMS and SSOW.
7. Providing relevant input during the tender and contract award process.
This is a key support role that is integral to the business; you will form an important part of the SHEQ function and provide invaluable support across a range of operations.
Key competencies include:
1. NVQ Level 3/4 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice or NEBOSH certificate & Tech IOSH.
2. Working knowledge of ISO Standards 9001, 45001 & 14001/competent internal auditor.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Effective time management and self-motivation.
5. Good written & oral skills to deliver reports to the business & customers.
6. Full Clean UK Driving License.
7. ISO Systems Lead Auditor (Desirable).
8. Working knowledge and experience of CDM regulations (Desirable).
9. Electrical background (Desirable).
