A stunning B&I location in London for a global investment company, catering for approximately 300 people daily. We offer breakfast, lunch, barista coffee bar, and lots of high-end hospitality. This location also has a Biodigester. The role is a Monday to Friday operation. Additional benefits of this location include the use of an on-site gym.
We are looking for a Front of House Assistant to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in London.
You will ideally have previous experience of working within a fast-paced catering environment as a catering assistant or supervisor and be looking to take your career to the next level and progress into a managerial role.
You will enjoy what you do, working with a great team for a company fanatical about food, serving wonderful customers.
Main Duties:
1. Serving and interacting with staff and pupils during mealtimes
2. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in your area of concern
3. Maintaining, washing, storing, and polishing crockery, cutlery, and glassware for everyday use
4. Providing the service of food/beverages and carrying out any minor food preparation tasks
5. Preparing, setting up, serving, clearing, cleaning, and storing away any food, beverage, or equipment required for special functions
6. On a rota basis, working additional hours during and out of term time to assist with lettings, functions, and school events
7. Operating cleaning and dishwashing equipment, properly cleaning and storing equipment, service, preparation, and storage areas
8. Completing all necessary cleaning/hygiene duties
9. Assisting with meal documentation procedures
10. Assisting in the service of all meals/functions when needed
11. Serving customers, visitors, and guests to a high standard in line with Thomas Franks and client service standards and expectations
12. Cleaning and filling beverage machines and ensuring all vending equipment is working correctly
