Job summary We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working healthcare Assistant for a permanent Band 3 ophthalmic technician role in our ophthalmology outpatient unit. You must be Barts Health NHS Trust member of staff. You must be an excellent communicator as you will have everyday contact with multi-professional colleagues where results and positive achievements will be crucial. Exceptional personal and organisational qualities are key attributes in this role. The ability to supervise and coach staff will also be necessary, as will a focus to delivering the highest standards of care and service to our patients. Main duties of the job We are looking for a friendly enthusiastic and hard working person to work in our ophthalmology outpatient department. You will be expected to assist with every day to day running of the unit providing comfort, support and information to the patient's and relatives and ensuring high standards of patient care. You will need to demonstrate good communication skills and ability to work as a team.
