Job Description
My Client, a leading social housing contractor, has experienced significant growth over the past few years and is looking for a Fire Risk Assessment Manager to join our management team reporting into the Operations Director.
The Fire Risk Assessment Manager will be responsible for reviewing fire risk actions via 'Riskhub' software and acting on the various recommendations resulting from customer fire risk assessments. You will use your fire industry knowledge to interpret the recommended actions of the fire risk actions and decide on the correct course of action required to resolve those findings.
The recommended actions of fire risk assessments can be very varied and it will be the responsibility of the Fire Risk Assessment Manager to ensure that the required rectification works are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Decision making will be key in deciding which department needs to action the findings whether it be passing the task directly to the service department for engineers to carry out the works via a schedule of rates, passing to the small works estimating department to produce a quote for the required works or for larger works passed to the sales department to carry out a survey.
The Fire Risk Assessment Manager will be responsible for ensuring that works are tracked from the front-end quotation process, the order booking phase, the execution phase of completing the work through to the final billing phase. You will be responsible for your own workload and for ensuring the Fire Risk Assessment Administrator is working in an efficient manner.
The number of outstanding actions resulting from Fire Risk Assessments is tracked as a weekly KPI and it will be the responsibility of the Fire Risk Assessment Manager to keep outstanding actions within acceptable levels by chasing various departments when necessary.
