About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Asbestos Team as a Multi-Trade Asbestos Operative. We are looking for an individual who has transferable skills, experience and is keen to learn on-the-job.
Within the role you will work alongside colleagues to carry out the removal or encapsulation of non-licenced asbestos products. You will also reinstate gyproc ceilings, garage/shed roofs, rainwater goods and carry out latexing of floors. Basic carpentry, plastering and decorating skills are also desirable for this role.
Our Ideal Candidate For This Role Is Someone Who
1. A commitment to working as part of a team.
2. Knowledge of building construction with the skills to carry out certain building trade reinstatement works after asbestos removal.
3. Knowledge of Health and safety rules associated with the construction industry.
4. The ability to carry out manual handling duties, work at heights and enter asbestos enclosures.
5. A proven ability to work independently within a team and work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service.
6. Values in providing great customer care.
A company van will be provided for business use only, therefore a full, current driving licence is essential.
